Join us on Friday, September 13th at the Hathaway playground. This is a great opportunity for your child to play with new friends in an informal setting, and also a great chance for parents to be introduced. Ice cream is provided by the HPTA – while none of the flavors feature nuts, there may be traces present.
In light of the recent cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), the Rhode Island Department of Health recommends that schools reschedule outdoor events ocuring at dusk to minimize the risk of mosquito bites.
Based on this recommendation, we have decided to adjust the hours of the ice cream social to 4:30- 6:30pm.
If you are planning to attend and your student has a nut allergy, please send an email to Amanda St Laurent at email@example.com and we will have a nut free treat waiting for you.
We need volunteers to make this event successful!
An email will be going out shortly with a sign up link. While you are not required to be VIS approved for this event, our Volunteer Coordinator, Jill May, will be on hand to notarize forms. If you bring a copy of your license and a check for $5 made out to BCI, we will take care of the rest!
We look forward to seeing you!
