Hathaway’s First Annual Yard Sale is Around the Corner: Saturday, May 18th

It’s time to clean out your houses and donation any new or gently used items you have in your attics, closets, basements, & storage sheds. We are currently collecting Adult and Children’s clothes, household items, pans, dishes, books, candles, pictures/paintings, tools, yard items, sporting equipment for adults and children, antiques, collectibles, costume jewelry and gently used musical instruments. Items can be brought to the school during regular business hours and Mr. Moy, our Safety Officer will help you take them off your hands. Volunteers Needed for the Holiday Hulabaloo

Saturday, December 1st, 10am – 1pm The Hathaway Holiday Hullabaloo is coming soon, and we need YOUR help make this a successful event! The Hullabaloo is a long-standing Hathaway community event, featuring a performance by our 4th grade chorus, a visit from Santa Claus, kids raffle, craft projects, a bake sale – and of course the holiday shopping room! The shopping room is a fun opportunity for Santa’s elves to help Hathaway students shop for small gifts for family and friends. Donated soup to be distributed to 60 Portsmouth families

Thank you & Congratulations Hathaway School Friends & Family! You Donated over 250 lbs of soup to our local food banks.  Some of the Hathaway students helped deliver 133 2lb bags to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Portsmouth, RI  at St. Barnabas Church. This program was done using the New on-Line DONATEABAG.org Fundraiser! You also helped us raise over $1800 dollars profit for your field Trips, educational & enrichment programs by Donating Bags of Soup !   THANK YOU!

Portsmouth Publice Education Foundation’s Social Saturday, November 3rd, 6:00pm-10:30pm

For over 18 years the Portsmouth Public Education Foundation (PPEF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has raised funds that support students and teachers in providing additional enrichment activities in and out of the classroom.  Annually PPEF provides teachers with the opportunity to apply for a grant that will enhance the course of their study. This may be a grant to fund access to technology, develop a project that benefits an entire class or grade level, or purchase items of enduring benefit. Fall Fundraiser: Cookie Dough/Soup will be distributed Thursday, Oct 25th

Don’t forget that the Mrs. Fields Cookie Dough/Blount Soup orders will be distributed on tomorrow, Thursday, October 25th from 2:30pm – 6:00pm in the gym.     Please remember these items are frozen so they need to be picked up on Thursday.    If you can’t make this day ask a friend as we have no where to store unclaimed orders. We raised over $10,000.00 with this event. We are also looking for VIS approved volunteers to help with order distribution.  Please contact our VIS Coordination at hathawayvis@gmail.com  if you can help anytime between 3pm-6pm  Thank you for your support!!!

Soup Challenge Winners & Cookie Dough/Soup Distribution

THIRD GRADE WON THE ‘SOUP CHALLENGE’ !!!  They purchasing 50 bags of soup!  Congratulations each third grade class will be given ONE EXTRA RECESS each week for a month.
