The Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into your school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open at the following times:
- Saturday, Match 14th, 9am – 1pm
- Tuesday, March 17th, 3:15pm – 6:30pm
- Thursday, March 19th, 3:15pm – 6:30pm

The Hathaway Holiday Hullabaloo is this SATURDAY! This annual tradition has been going strong for over 30 years. Come and enjoy a performance from the 4th grade Chorus, a visit from Santa, kids raffle, arts and crafts, food and bake sale, and of course our holiday shopping room.

Why: As you are aware, our district has been soliciting input from parents, teachers, students, administrators and the community at large to develop an Educational Facilities Master Plan.
At this meeting you will learn about the preliminary results of the work to date and the proposed capital investment projects that will impact our district.
Join us to learn about the proposed improvements to our Hathaway School and provide feedback as we continue towards completion of this work.

We are very excited to introduce our 1st Annual Hathaway Fun Walk! This will be our fall fundraiser this year and is replacing the cookie dough fundraiser we have done in past years. The Fun Walk will promote healthy choices, encourage school spirit, and, of course, raise money for the school!

The HPTA is getting ready for our first event of the season!
Join us on Friday, September 13th at the Hathaway playground. This is a great opportunity for your child to play with new friends in an informal setting, and also a great chance for parents to be introduced. Ice cream is provided by the HPTA!
In light of the recent cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), the Rhode Island Department of Health recommends that schools reschedule outdoor events ocuring at dusk to minimize the risk of mosquito bites.
Based on this recommendation, we have decided to adjust the hours of the ice cream social to 4:30- 6:30pm.
School is just around the corner. Make sure your kids have all the supplies they need for the first day of school.
