*Spanish 3 is starting a week earlier than other classes due to the number of early dismissals

Senora Leonard has been teaching Portsmouth children Spanish for 14 years. Her program is very popular. The Porstmouth School System does not offer Spanish classes until 8^th grade. Learning a second language is easier when you are younger. Studies have demonstrated that learning a second language can improve a student’s grasp of their mother tongue.

Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the world with 480 million native speakers and 580 million total Spanish speakers.

After School Enrichment Program (Jan – Mar):

This program usually runs two 4 week sessions:

First session is in January
Second session is February – March

January After School Enrichment Program includes the following activities after school on Wednesdays & Thursdays:

Wednesday: Yoga for Kids, Martial Arts, Crazy Chemworks (K-2), Winter Magic – Painting, Drums Alive
Thursday: Stop Motion Animation, Zumba Kids, Acting Improv & Self Awareness, Zoomobile, Crazy Chemworks (2-4)
