Hathaway Parent Teacher Association

The Hathaway Parent Teacher Association would like to share some of the many great activities and events that we sponsor for you and your child to enjoy throughout the year. All parents are considered an integral part of the HPTA and are encouraged to attend the meetings. The meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm in the library/cafeteria, and generally last about an hour.

If you are not able to attend the meetings there are a wide variety of opportunities for you to become involved, check out the EVENTS tab.  You can also contact your child’s teacher and help out in the classroom as long as your are VIS (Volunteers In School) approved, go to VOLUNTEERING tab to learn how sign up to volunteer in the school and get approved.  The students love knowing you are part of their school and it is a great way to meet other families.

The HPTA runs two big fundraisers a year:  Cookie Dough sale and Springabaloo, go to FUNDRAISING AND DONATIONS to learn about these events and how you can help out.  The funds raised go towards extracurricular and classroom enrichment opportunities for your child, and also provide more technology in the classrooms.

Easy Fundraising Programs

We also participate in Box Tops For Education and Clements’ Marketplace Friends Fund. These easy fundraisers bring in a lot of money each year, and they require minimal effort! Just save your Box Tops and Clements’ receipts, and send them to school with your child. Click here to see a list of Box Tops For Education items.

Hathaway also participates each year in the Stop & Shop A+ Rewards Shopping Program.  Click here to register for this program.
